Navigating a Medical Crisis — Part 1 — Really?

Double heart bypass (also known as post-op day 11 CABG x 2, as I’m learning terminology), with a stroke on post-op day 5 that causes expressive speech aphasia, along with kidneys that are struggling to recover from the bypass surgery, a surgeon who’s deer hunting in Canada, a neurologist who isn’t listening to what the cardiologist says, and an endocrinologist who doesn’t have a clue…such was my November.
